I have waited patiently for almost two years to purchase the Louis Vuitton toiletry 26 pouch! I got lucky one time and Louis Vuitton said that there was one in stock in Florida. But I was too late. After being shut down by sales associates, there was one fabulous SA that gave me hope. Her name is Sigourney over at Louis Vuitton Copley. Let me tell you a story.
I started to become obsessed with the 26 pouch because everyone was using it as a clutch. Princess Diana,(may she rest in peace) was a total icon with her toiletry 26. I want it and I got it. After scouring Fashionphile and contemplating whether I should buy it used. I has an opportunity to buy the Damier Ebene version (which is vintage) but was too late. I am so glad I waited.
One day after class I decided needed a new small SLG so I picked out the - YOU GUESSED IT. Damier Ebene zippy coin purse with rose ballerine lining. I fell in love with it, there was another sales associate helping but he was not patient with me. I bought it, and Sigourney was the one who rung me out. I told her, “If you ever see a toiletry 26 pouch in monogram, please let me know.” I was happy of had met her, little did I know the greatest thing was going to happen to me tomorrow. I went home and discovered that the backstitching of the wallet was really messy, and my sister really was not a fan of it. I decided to return it the next day. That’s when Sigourney texted me in class. My heart dropped. I looked up and my professor was lecturing on and on about Muckracking. I shot back “I WILL BE THERE IN 45 MINUTES.”
Ya girl WHIPPED to Copley Mall and got out of class within seconds to catch the train. There it was, the beautiful toiletry 26. I have never wanted a make up pouch this bad in my whole entire life. She had it in her arms all set with other things she wanted me to look at. I ended up exchanging the wallet for the pouch. I’m not kidding guys, I went to class with the Louis shopping bag.
Moral of the story everyone- if you’re patient good things will come your way.
